THE HISTORY
In History Since the 12th Century
Erected in the 12th century during the Crusades, Villa La Personala has origins dating back to the era of Frederick Barbarossa with the construction of a Ghibelline tower. Initially the residence of the Personali family in Germany, they later moved to Bedulita, Bergamo, where they were recognized as counts. In 1472, they established their presence in San Giacomo Roncole, strengthening ties with the Pico family. Through the centuries, the villa has withstood earthquakes and catastrophes, preserving its magnificence and rich cultural and historical heritage, a symbol of resilience and beauty in the heart of Emilia.
